Norfolk, VA. Visitor Center

The VisitNorfolk Tourist Information Center is located at 232 East Main Street in Downtown Norfolk. Take the Waterside Drive Exit, turn right onto Atlantic Street, then a left onto Main Street. We offer complimentary 30-minute parking in the Main Street Garage. The Main Street Garage entrance is located on Atlantic Street. Instead of turning left onto Main Street, continue on Atlantic Street and turn left into the parking garage.

We are open* Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Weekend hours may be extended to accommodate festivals and other events.

*Holiday hours: CLOSED December 24th & 25th and December 31st – January 1st. On other holidays, we are open 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Hours may vary, so we suggest that you call ahead.

Norfolk’s Visitor Information Center, located in downtown Norfolk, is a state-certified visitor center providing year-round hospitality and travel counseling to visitors and residents. As locals ourselves, we will be sure to provide you with the latest and greatest recommendations for the best cuisineattractionsshopping and tours our city has to offer. We carry multiple brochures and visitors guides, to help make your trip planning carefree. In addition, our Mermaid Market sells unique, local merchandise as well as HRT Go-Passes and VDOT EZ Pass transponders. 

Our staff of knowledgeable Visitor Information Specialists will provide you with one-on-one personalized assistance with your travel needs. We encourage you to stop by as you begin to explore Norfolk so we can help make the most of your adventure.
