Set during carnival season in 17th-century Naples, The Rover follows a group of Englishmen and their tangled romantic pursuits. With disguises, mistaken identities, and bold women challenging societal norms, this sharp comedy explores love, desire, and personal freedom.

Directed by Bethany Mayo, the reigning Ms. Virginia, The Rover brings a fresh perspective to Aphra Behn’s classic Restoration comedy. New Director of Technical Theater, Keith Smith, makes his GSA debut with an impactful scenic and lighting design.
