Surviving Through Mental Health

This event focuses on how mental health concerns show up differently in young, minority, and economically underserved communities and how collaboration can make a positive impact. Highlights include panel discussions with mental health experts, activists, and survivors, outreach opportunities with local mental health and wellness providers, prizes, raffles, food, music, refreshments, and more.

Individuals, families, and friends of all ages are welcome to attend and participate, especially teens and young adults. Surviving Through Mental Health is a free event and registration is preferred but not required.

Sebastian Maniscalco is the undisputed king of physical comedy, hailed by The New York Times as the “hottest comic in America.” He has been performing for over two decades amassing a huge loyal fanbase and as Pollstar has noted, “He’s been a voice in the vanguard of a live comedy revolution.” During his latest tour, Maniscalco conquered New York City by selling out Madison Square Garden, Barclays Center, UBS Arena, and Prudential Center, and with his two shows at Chicago’s United Center, he is currently the highest-grossing comedian in the venue’s three-decade history. With residencies at the Borgata Event Center in Atlantic City, as well as the Wynn, Encore Theatre in Las Vegas, he continues his record-breaking arena shows that earned him the top spot on Pollstar’s Top Comedy Tours list. He has also starred in 6 comedy specials for networks such as Netflix, Showtime and Comedy Central.

Over the last 15 years The Used have released a collection of albums that have shaped the space of the alternative rock scene. High energy live shows, gut wrenching relatable lyrics, and melodies that blended pop sensibility and hard rock creating the perfect combination to make an everlasting impression on fans globally.  The band put everything into writing and recording their new album The Canyon and from start to finish you are submerged into an inescapable visceral universe and McCracken leaves us with, “That’s what this record is – it’s a moment of silence for what’s real.”  The Canyon was released on Oct 27.

There’s been a murder and everyone is a suspect… even you. The Unusual Suspects is a completely made-up murder mystery. Detective Brad McMurran walks you through the suspects… all pulled from the audience. Each month Brad plays a different detective, inspired by the great sleuths of fiction. Can you solve the murder before our crack investigator? The show is completely improvised. So who knows what will happen.

A casual, party pace group ride leaving from the bike shop at 10:30. Varying in length from 8-12 miles in distance and 8-12 miles per hour. This is a no drop ride and we try to stay together if anybody has any mechanical issues during the ride.

Feel free to swing by early to check out the shop from 10am-10:30am.
