Led by nine-time GRAMMY winner (with an astonishing 32 nominations!) and winner of the Pulitzer Prize and National Medal of the Arts Wynton Marsalis, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra is the emblem of jazz for the United States and the world – and a swingin’ great time for audiences. The RnB Block Party has given us a great year of love and rnb vibes to recap. February DJ Envy helped us bring in Valentine’s Day weekend. In May, we took the party to Las Vegas for Usher’s Lovers and Friends Festival. 4th of July weekend, the love returned home to the 757 with the mixtape legend DJ Drama. August came in strong with the kickoff of the inaugural Cousinz Festival headlined by Jermaine Dupri and a long list of special guests on the RnB block party stage. As the year began to close in true Norfolk fashion, Norfolk State’s homecoming season showed and proved to bring an rnb icon in producer Jazze Pha. The grand finale is here, On New Year’s Eve we close it out block party family! You gotta dance!!!
