Where is the cruise terminal located? The Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center is located at 1 Waterside Dr. in Downtown Norfolk along the Elizabeth River. It may be reached by car, light rail, Amtrak or shuttle bus and is in very close walking distance to hotels in the downtown corridor.

Where do cruise passengers park? Designated cruise parking for Carnival passengers is located at the Cedar Grove lot (1000 Monticello Avenue). The parking rate is $15.00/day for passenger cars (up to 15 passenger vans) payable upon entry by cash or credit card. The lot will open for parking at 10 a.m. with the first shuttle departing for the terminal at 11:15 a.m. Learn more.

Where does the light rail go? The Tide Light Rail system takes commuters from Fort Norfolk Station, near the historic Ghent district, to the Newtown Road Park & Ride Station at the Norfolk / Virginia Beach city line, making stops near the Chrysler Museum of Art, The MacArthur Memorial, and Harbor Park Baseball Stadium. The light rail operates daily.
