Sky’s the Limit Yoga Co.

Step into a world of creativity and community as Alli invites participants to the Vision Board Workshop at the studio. Attendees are encouraged to bring old magazines and half-empty glue sticks, evoking the nostalgic joy of decorating eighth-grade binders. Together, they’ll craft vision boards inspired by the New Year, using images and words to articulate their goals for 2024. Through breathtaking dance and music, Shen Yun’s artists tell of a time when divine beings walked upon the earth, leaving behind a culture that inspired generations. Ancient Chinese wisdom, infused with Buddhist and Taoist spirituality and values, gave birth to everything from medical innovations to opera, dance, architecture and even martial arts. But after decades of communist rule, much of this divinely inspired culture has been destroyed or forgotten.

Attucks Theatre


Preacher Lawson, originally from Portland, OR, but molded as a comedian in Orlando, FL, gained fame as a finalist on season 12 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent in 2017. Known for his stand-up, he also appeared on HBO’s A Black Lady Sketch Show and NBC’s Connecting. Old Dominion University


YES Fest returns to Old Dominion University on January 13th and 14th, 2024! Join the celebration of art and music at Goode Theatre + Gordon Art Galleries, featuring performances by Horse Jumper Of Love, Nickelus F, and Butcher Brown. ODU students, staff, and faculty can get discounted tickets at the provided link. The event is all ages, and kids 12 and under enter for free. Scope Arena

The Chrysler

Captured by Paul McCartney using his own Pentax Camera, Paul McCartney Photographs 1963–64: Eyes of the Storm features more than 250 photographs taken between November 1963 and February 1964, illuminating the period in which The Beatles became international superstars. The photographs were rediscovered in McCartney’s personal archive in 2020.
