Join us at Varia every Wednesday as Art of Wine returns! Each week, we’ll explore a different theme and offer 4 varieties of wine for a complimentary tasting. Attendees will learn about the wines from our sommelier and can also enjoy paired charcuterie and cheese board options for $10.
Featured wines will be available for retail purchase and purchase of 3 or more will come with a $25 gift card to be used at our cruvinet dispenser.

12/14 – South Africa (Stellenbosch/Paarl/Western Cape/etc.)
12/21 – Let’s “Mull” it over (Holiday-themed Mulled wines, prebatched.. let’s get candy canes and cinnamon sticks or something to accompany)
12/28 – New Year’s Pregame – Sparkling Soiree (dress-up encouraged)

1/4 – New year, new you… old wine? (“Library” wines – back vintage showcase)
1/11 – Blind Tasting Game – can you guess the wine? (Each guest gets a sheet with options, they have to pick correctly. Get 3 right out of 5, get a gift card/promo glass or something. There will be 10 wine options to pick, only half will be present.)
1/18 – It’s Greek to Me (Greek wine feature)
1/25 – Badda Bing (New York wines)

2/1 – Napa vs. Sonoma (side-by-side blind tasting of classic counterpart wines, guests will score them based on preference)
2/8 – Banks of Bordeaux (a comparison of Bordeaux’s left and right bank wines)
2/15 – La Rioja (in-depth tasting of Spain’s most famous region)
2/22 – Club Med (wines from the shores of the Mediterranean Sea)

3/1 – Wine Trivia (An assortment of fun wines while we play a trivia game. I’ll invite Shon Stacy to co-host, he owns Bar Trivia Live and we used to work together years ago doing wine trivia events.)
3/8 – Mendoza (Argentinian tasting featuring wines from the Mendoza region)
3/15 – The Crus of Beaujolais (A showcase of all ten Beaujolais Crus!)
3/22 – Thrifty Thirst (Budget-friendly, high-quality wines from varied regions)
3/29 – For the Good (A showcase of wines that give back to the community through charity)
